Julie Moser, Founder
Julie’s diverse educational background includes experience as a teacher and an administrator. She started her educational career teaching in Downers Grove and later in Lake Forest, teaching second, third, fourth and fifth grades. She went on to work as an administrator both in Lake Forest and at Maercker School in Westmont. Julie realized her true passion was working with children - meeting children at their levels and supporting them to meet their greatest potential as people and learners. To realize this goal, Ms. Moser moved to a position as the Differentiation Specialist at Monroe School in Hinsdale. There she provided an enrichment curriculum to kindergarten through 5th grade students, stirring children’s passions and supporting their learning development. Ms. Moser is also a National Board Certified Teacher.

Meredith Wodka
Meredith Wodka started her educational career at a young age. She was often found carrying around a tape player that would read books to her while she took apart her toys to see how they worked. Then she would put them back together in a new and different way. This type of curiosity and hands on approach is what she has applied in her classrooms these last 21 years of teaching. She is currently a Teacher Librarian at Monroe School in Hinsdale IL. When not in school, you will find her reading a book, learning a new skill, or going on outdoor adventures with her husband and three children.

Julie Stevens
Julie began her teaching career at Chicago Public Schools where she taught Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 for 6 years. In that time, she also completed her Master’s degree in mathematics education. After completing her graduate degree, Julie wanted to find a way to give more personalized mathematics instruction to students. She started to work for a nonprofit, Saga Education. Saga Education provides free math tutoring to students, who are 2-3 years behind, during the school day in CPS schools. Julie started this work as a Site Director, where she coached, mentored, and managed a group of 8 – 10 tutors. She loved working with a team of tutors to provide math instruction tailored to students’ individual unique needs. She stepped down from this role to be the primary caregiver for her children. Julie still works part-time editing the math curriculum that Saga Education uses in their tutoring programs.
